When: Wednesday 30th November, 7-10pm
Where: St Pancras Old Church

To celebrate Hendrix’s 80th birthday, Handel & Hendrix in London have curated an evening of electrifying live music. Honouring Jimi’s commitment to mind-bending performance, this magnetic programme is designed to inspire. The event will take place amongst the beautiful setting of St Pancras Old Church.

Opening the night will be Hendrix biographer, Christian Lloyd. Christian will delve into the idea of the “Electric Church”, exploring ways in which we can apply this philosophy to modern-day performance. He will also be signing copies of his book ‘Hendrix at Home: A Bluesman in Mayfair’. We will be selling his book at the event but if you want to get your hands on it before, get your copy here

Multi instrumentalist Parthenope will then take to the stage and share her saxophone virtuosity and amazing vocals in a beautifully eclectic set.

Headliner, Loria Boban will end the night with a set that encapsulates Hendrix’s commitment to free-form performance with her unique brand of new wave funky-soul.

Join us on Wednesday 30th November for this high voltage celebration of Jimi Hendrix.
