Discover some of the most exciting musical talent from the UK and abroad whilst our historic rooms take on a wonderous magical life of their own. Tickets will be limited so please ensure you book well in advance.

On the 15th December, we will be joined by soprano Maryam Wocial, harpsichordist Apolline Khou and musician and singer-songwriter Seye Adelekan.

Maryam Wocial

Maryam Wocial

Maryam is a UK–based soprano. She made her operatic debut with New Chamber Opera as Lisetta in their 2020 production of Haydn’s La Vera Costanza and in 2023 she performed as the lead role in their production of Johann Pepusch’s operatic masque, The Death of Dido. Other work with NCO includes soprano soloist in their 2023 performance of Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, as well as several masterclasses and solo recitals. In 2022, she performed with the British Youth Opera in their production of Vaughan-Williams’ Sir John in Love at Opera Holland Park. She is currently enrolled on the master’s course at the Royal College of Music, where she is supported by the Poppy Holden Scholarship and studies with Dinah Harris.

Apolline Khou

Apolline Khou

Born in France, Apolline Khou is currently the fellow in historical keyboards at the Royal College of Music. She graduated from this institution with a Master of Performance and with an Artist Diploma, as the Carne Junior fellow. She recently gave a solo recital at the Atelier Von Nagel in Paris. Winner of the RCM Historical Performance competition, she won the Century Fund prize and the Richard III prize. She was awarded the 2nd prize of the Musica Britannica editions - Lewis Memorial Prize competition in 2023, and the Debussy prize at the International piano competition of Ile de France in 2017. During her studies, Apolline was supported by the Safran foundation, the Soroptimist Club, and by Linda Hill and Philip Carne.

Seye Adelekan

Seye Adelekan is a Nigerian born, British multi-instrumentalist hailing from South London. His career has now spanned 14 years in the music industry as a session musician (studio and live), a writer, producer and film scorer. Seye is currently the bass player in Gorillaz live band, he has also performed with/recorded with and written with artists such as Paloma Faith, Ellie Goulding, Birdy, Mumford and Sons, KT Tunstall, The Noisettes, The Very Best, Self Esteem, Noel Gallagher, Damon Albarn, La Roux, Afrikan Boy, YOTA and more.
