Handel House has a rich performing history. Handel held rehearsals and performances at 25 Brook Street nearly 300 years ago and a regular concert series, established in 2001 when the house opened to the public, has been honouring this tradition ever since. The historic resonance of performing and listening to music in the house is heightened further by the many works Handel composed here from 1723 until his death in 1759. Alongside the weekly Tuesday Live concert series, Handel House hosts a regular series for the British Harpsichord Society and collaborates with many other organisations such as the Keyboard Charity Trust and the British Clavichord Society.

Meanwhile, the opening of the Hendrix Flat in 2016 has allowed us to bring even more music into the building. Jimi Hendrix often listened to, played and wrote music in his flat at 23 Brook Street and with this in mind we present bands, solo artists and DJs that honour Hendrix’s eclectic musical taste at our Friday Lates throughout the year.
If you are an artist interested in performing at one of our Hendrix events please send us an email.
