Terms and conditions

Tickets for events at Handel House can be booked online, by telephone, by post or in person, subject to availability.

All event tickets include FREE admission to the house on the day of the event, unless otherwise stated.


The online ticket booking facility is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via handelandhendrix.org.

  • No online booking fee
  • Book up to 24 hours before the event
  • Collect at box office on the day of the event, or have the tickets posted to you

Delivery of tickets

Tickets booked online, by telephone or by post can be posted up to 7 days in advance of the event, and will be mailed at an extra cost of £1.

Tickets booked within 7 days of the event will be held at the our Reception for collection on the day.  Please present the credit/debit card used for booking when collecting your tickets.

In person

Tickets can be purchased in person from the Reception during normal opening times.

Companion seats and wheelchair spaces

If you have a disability which requires you to be accompanied, your companion may attend free of charge.  If you require a wheelchair space please tell us at the time of your booking so that suitable arrangements can be made.


We regret that we are unable to take unpaid reservations for event tickets.

Refunds and exchanges

We are unable to offer refunds or exchanges, except in the case of a cancelled event. In some circumstances tickets can be offered for resale, if the event is sold out and there is demand for tickets.  Tickets must be returned to Handel House at least 48 hours in advance of the event to be considered for resale.  This does not affect your statutory rights.

Your personal data

The personal details required to process your ticket request will be securely stored by Handel & Hendrix in London, in accordance with the terms of the Data Protection Act.
