Edwin Hillier

October 2014 – November 2015
http://edwinhillier.com/

Edwin Hillier is Handel House’s first Composer-in-Residence Apprentice

CiR Series

19, 22, 26, 29 November
Edwin Hillier bridges his musical world with Handel’s for this year’s Composer-in-Residence Series. He has invited ensembles at the forefront of the contemporary music scene and paired them with young composers at the start of their professional careers. Much like his residency, his series will complement and reflect on Handel’s life, works and modest Georgian home through present day musical techniques and technology. Each concert will include an introduction with each composer who will talk about their new commission.

Forthcoming events

Pièces en Concert

Trio Aporia premiere a new work by former Composer-in-Residence Edwin Hillier, alongside Rameau’s Pièces en concert and new music from Geoffrey Poole and Duncan Druce
