Oonagh Lee (oboe)

Oonagh Lee was born in Glasgow and completed her studies at the Royal Academy of Music and The Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. Since then Oonagh has become a regular on the historical performance scene as both an oboist and recorder player, performing with ensembles including Dunedin Consort, Orchestra of the 18th Century, Academy of Ancient Music and The Hanover Band.

Recent performances include the Maribor Festival, Slovenia, with Arcangelo, the Halle Handel Festival with Dunedin Consort and the Brisbane Baroque Festival with Orchestra of the Antipodes. Oonagh’s playing can be heard on several discs, including new albums from The Australian Haydn Ensemble and Dunedin Consort, as well as two discs from recorder quintet Consortium5, of which she is a founding member.
