Richard Robbins (tenor)

Richard Robbins is currently preparing for performances of Wolf and Mahler with Oxford Lieder as part of its Mastercourse programme. He was awarded the Rhonda Jones Scholarship after completing two years of study at the Royal Academy of Music under the tutelage of renowned tenor, Philip Doghan and highly respected interpreter of song, Joseph Middleton.

Richard also conducts choirs and has worked with Westminster Cathedral as part of the their Choral Outreach programme. Upcoming performances as a soloist include Beethoven’s Mass in C and Bach’s B Minor. Over the summer, Richard worked on a production for BYO and started a campaign to Save the National Musicians’ Church, garnering much press attention.
