Tabea Debus (recorder)

Tabea Debus, who is currently Meaker Fellow at the Royal Academy of Music and 2016 CMF Artist, won first prizes in the international hülsta woodwinds and Johann Heinrich Schmelzer competitions.

Performances have taken her to renowned European venues and festivals, including London Festival of Baroque Music and York Early Music Festival, and as far as Japan, Singapore and the USA. Tabea recorded her debut CD “upon a ground” in 2012 and released “Cantata per Flauto” in 2016.

She was chosen to join the Handel House Talent 2016/17 and SJSS Young Artist 2015/16 Schemes and recently appeared live on BBC Radio 3 In Tune and the Early Music Show.
