A lutenist and guitarist from London, Toby Carr is known as an engaging artist, performing with some of the finest musicians in the business.  Having studied at Trinity and the Guildhall School he is active as a soloist, continuo player and chamber musician.

Toby has worked with organisations such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the Royal Ballet, Dunedin Consort, and English Touring Opera, and is a founding member of younger groups Ceruleo and Lux Musicae London.

Settled with his wife and collaborator, harpist Aileen Henry, Toby’s interests include cooking and travelling, though when not working he tries to do as little as possible.
