Know anyone who got a guitar for Christmas? There can’t be too many better places to start to learn how to play guitar than Jimi Hendrix’s former home. There are still a couple of spots available on this 4-part course for absolute beginners.
Saturday 25 January, 11am-12pm
Our first Hendrix Talk of 2020 will look at what innovations in guitar playing Jimi Hendrix pioneered and how these transcend through music to today.
Tuesday 28 January, 6.30-7.30pm
Music by Francesco Corbetta, an Italian guitar virtuoso, who travelled all around Europe, including England with Charles II when the monarchy was reinstated.
Thursday 30 January, 1-2pm
The music of Italian violinists, contemporary to Handel, who found success in London.
Friday 31 January, 2-3pm & 3.30-4.30pm
Our weekly guided tours restart on January 31st. A great way to experience the houses in a new way if you’ve already visited!
