Our Ensemble-in-Residence, BLOCK4, will be playing their penultimate concert at Handel House with a recital inspired by the 300th anniversary of the very first ballet d’action in Britain.
We will also be hosting another Hendrix-inspired Friday Late to celebrate the anniversary of the Woodstock Festival, which Jimi famously headlined.
BLOCK4’s afternoon concert will commemorate the 300-year anniversary of Britain’s first ballet d’action, which features elements of Greek mythology. Expect music by Handel, Monteverdi, and some rarely heard Baroque masters.
