Ensemble-in-Residence Series

24th-31st July

Legacy_Handel_House

Handel was renowned for experimenting with the capabilities of the voice and other instruments. Hendrix was comparatively exploratory, making novel sonic effects on his guitar an integral part of his musical vocabulary. Composers are continuing to search for new sonic possibilities with the instruments that they are working with, and this series celebrates that and gives bright young musical talents the chance to hone their skills as composers and performers.
