So I know something is worth blogging about if three separate people have sent me information on the same thing – thanks Judy, Martin and Adrian. There is an exhibition of previously unseen images of Hendrix just off Piccadilliy, in fact about a 10 minute walk from Brook Street. How gutting is it therefore that I am going to be out of the country until after it closes on 23 August. I have to leave it to everyone else to go there and tell me what you think.

Despite my absence, although some might argue because of it, there have been great strides with the project and the team are in the throes of relocating our office to a temporary space while the building work is undertaken. Our computer server is moving to a new location and wires run to a different office. All this work in preparation has an official project name (of course) and is known as enabling works – I suppose that sounds slightly better than getting ready…

As well as moving the computers, protecting the floor for our temporary office is essential. Fantastic job team – well done.

Enthusiasm level: bubbling along
Progress: things are relocating
