The main entrance to the new space.

Brick entrance complete with trip step.

Beautiful slate tiles now cover our new learning studio and it is a site to behold. I almost want to crawl out onto the roof and stroke them they are so perfect and gorgeous. What was two knocked through walls into the space underneath are now fully formed entrances to our wonderful new room. Check out the before and after shots. I have managed to sneak a few people into look and their reactions have been amazement and excitement, I definitely saw tears in someone’s eyes when they began to imagine all that we could do with the room. One person, who shall remain anonymous, did try to suggest it wasn’t very big but I am not open to that kind of criticism and they got short shrift. So the rest of you beware you have been warned!

Silky smooth gorgeousness, why have cotton when you can have silk?

Other news this week was an unexpected email exchange with a lease expert who helps me with various matters. We are in the midst of some lengthy and complex discussions at the moment and his professional advice is essential and sensible, so it was with some amusement when, amongst our exchanges in passing, I mentioned Jimi Hendrix. Unbeknownst to me he is a huge fan since visiting his grandparents who lived on the Isle of Wight in 1970 when he was 6!

Enthusiasm: Tear jerking (good tears)
Progress: On track and on time
Quote: “Jimi Hendrix I love”
