This week on April 14th, in recognition of it being the date that Handel died in 1759, we asked people on our Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages to tell us their favourite Handel pieces.

Suggestions included some of his earliest operas to his final oratorios, with a few classics from the likes of Messiah and Water Music thrown in for good measure. We decided to collect all of these brilliant selections into this week’s Handel playlist.
