Description
Simon Balicourt arrived in London in 1735 and was ‘esteemed one of the best Masters of the German Flute’ in London until his death in 1757. Balicourt would almost certainly have met Handel whilst he lived in London. Rosie Bowker (flute) presents a programme of works by both composers.
