Description
Being a successful musician was as challenging a career choice in the time of Handel, as it is today. This concert will focus on composers who faced obstacles on their musical journey to success, including doubtful parents, financial struggle and poor health. Katie Cowling (recorders), Florence Petit (Baroque cello), and Thomas Allery (harpsichord) will play pieces by Telemann, Quantz and Handel.
