Handel House invites you to St. George’s Hanover Square to celebrate the Christmas season with our annual end-of-year concert.

Musicians from our Handel House Talent scheme will celebrate their year with us by performing the very best early & Baroque music both as soloists and ensembles. The programme will include some of Handel’s greatest music, as well as a selection of other Baroque composers.
There will also be a world-premiere of a new piece composed by our Composer-in-Residence Alex Groves inspired by the year working inside Handel’s House at 25 Brook Street.
Performances will be punctuated with festive carols for all the audience to sing along to.
The programme will include:
- George Frideric Handel – Violin Sonata in D major, HWV 371
- George Frideric Handel – Messiah: ‘Oh Thou That Tellest Good Tidings to Zion’
- Johann Sebastian Bach – Mer hahn en neue Oberkeet, BWV 212
- Thomas Roseingrave – Flute Sonata no.1 in A minor
- Michael Praetorius – Es ist ein Ros entsprungen
