This Halloween, an evening inspired by the supernatural stories of two historic houses.
For this year’s Museums at Night festival, we bring you an evening of live music, performances and interactive activities to celebrate the darker sides of the lives and music of Handel & Hendrix.
In Handel House, there will be live operatic performances and Baroque music throughout the evening. A variety of Georgian characters from Handel’s London will be brought to life in the great composer’s Music & Composition Rooms.
Over in 23 Brook Street, where Jimi Hendrix called home from 1968-69, there will be film projections, life-drawing and even more live music between a soundtrack of psychedelic tunes.
To top all this off there will be tarot reading, face painting and a pop-up bar featuring a few surprises. Don’t miss out on this rare opportunity to visit the whole house after hours, lit by candle and haunted by ghostly figures of the past.
