Handel House Singers: Come and Sing Messiah, Part 1 – Soprano & Alto

“Join in and work through part of this masterpiece”
Description
To celebrate the 15th anniversary of Handel House opening to the public, Handel House Singers are back to perform one of Handel’s most famous works written from 25 Brook Street. Messiah was written in 1741 in just 24 days and is full of some of the best choruses written for the English language. Join in and work through part of this masterpiece for a day to remember! All singing levels are welcome and familiarity with the music is not necessary; come along and learn!
The day will be led by international conductor Laurence Cummings, who will coach vocal sections in the morning at Handel House and then invite the whole choir to join him and special guest soloists for a full rehearsal and performance at Grosvenor Chapel, South Audley Street.
