For 3 consecutive Saturdays in July, we are holding walking tours around Mayfair and Soho to the places Jimi Hendrix lived, performed and recorded while living in London in the 60s.

Each Saturday is a different theme. Choose which week interests you the most, or if you’re the ultimate Hendrix fan come to all 3!

Hendrix Walking Tour 1- In Jimi’s Footsteps

Saturday 1 July 2017

12.30-2pm or 3.30-5pm

The first in a series of three Jimi Hendrix themed walking tours. Lasting an hour and a half this tour will take you to seven sites in the Mayfair and Marble Arch areas. Starting from Hendrix’s home in Brook Street the tour will visit other places where he lived, including addresses in Montagu Square and Upper Berkeley Street. The walk will also take in venues Hendrix frequented and the location of his last official interview.

Hendrix Walking Tour 2 - Venues of a Legend

The second in a series of three Jimi Hendrix themed walking tours. Lasting an hour and a half this tour visits nine sites in the New Bond Street and Piccadilly areas connected to Hendrix’s life and career. Starting from Hendrix’s home in Brook Street we go to the site of the studios where Foxy Lady was recorded, the location of The Experience’s first-ever rehearsal, and the venue where the band had their debut performance.

Hendrix Walking Tour 3 - The Final Performance

The last in a series of three Jimi Hendrix themed walking tours. Lasting an hour and a half this tour will take you to nine locations in Oxford Street and Soho associated with Hendrix.

Starting from Hendrix’s home in Brook Street the tour visits the site of a number of venues that Hendrix frequented, including The Speakeasy, Bag O’Nails and the place of his last public performance.

Tickets: £15

Booking tickets is advised as spaces are limited.

Meeting point for all walking tours will be at the Lancashire Court entrance of Handel & Hendrix in London, W1K 4HB.

Included in the price of your ticket is an optional guided tour of the Hendrix Flat. If you would like to go on the Hendrix Flat tour please arrive 30 minutes before the start of your walk.
