Inspired by Telemann

Tabea Debus (recorder).
Description
In commemoration of the 250th anniversary of Telemann’s death, this programme focuses on his enterprising subscription lists. This successful business venture meant that his music travelled the world, making its way into the hands of Handel, Bach and Blavet, amongst others. Tabea Debus (recorder) leads a performance of music inspired by Telemann.
The programme includes a world premiere of Two and a Half Minutes to Midnight a piece for solo recorder by up-and-coming British composer Dani Howard.
