Junior Harpsichord Competition

Adjudicated by Dusan Toroman.
Description
We are hosting a Junior Harpsichord competition to discover a talented, young musician under the age of 19.
Competitors will get the chance to perform one set piece by Handel and one piece of their own choice. Dusan Toroman will judge their performances and will award the top 3 winners with medals!
Class 1: Early Intermediate Players.
Class 2: Advanced Players. Nb. This class will take place first at 2pm.
Competition Rules:
This event is for harpsichordists aged 19 and under.
If you have not played the harpsichord before, the Dulwich Music Festival will be organising a series of harpsichord masterclasses to familiarise you with the instrument and help you prepare your piece. These masterclasses will be held in East Dulwich. If you have not played the harpsichord before, you will be required to attend at least one session before entering the competition.
There will not be time available on the day to rehearse or warm-up so it is vital that you have prepared your piece well in advance on a harpsichord.
Audience members are welcome. The usual general admission fee will apply and this is payable directly to the museum on arrival.
When: 2nd Feb 2019 at 14:00
