Description
This concert features the rarely heard music of James Oswald, a Scottish composer who moved to London to write chamber music for George III. Lois Murray (soprano), James Risdon (recorders) and Trevor Hughes (harpsichord) perform works by Oswald including his song cycle on the subject of kissing. They are joined by Clare Fleck, Archivist at Knebworth House, where the composer died in 1769.
