Orlando Furioso

Hannah Ely (soprano) and Harry Buckoke (viola da gamba) perform a selection of music by 16th century composers who were inspired by the story of love, honour & betrayal in Ariosto’s Orlando Furioso. This music led to a shift in performance practice and perception of women performing in public at the time.
