Description

In 1751, struggling with a gradual loss of sight, Handel embarked on a new oratorio, Jephtha.
It would be his last. Guy Withers (tenor) and Bertie Baigent (harpsichord) will perform pieces of music featured in Handel’s eventful 1751 season at Covent Garden.
