We continue our A Year in the Life of Handel exhibition series with an in depth look at 1723 – the year in which Handel took up residence in his Brook Street home.

It was a busy year for the composer as his career flourished in the rich cultural life of Georgian London. Loans from national museums will join items from Handel House’s own collection to illustrate highlights of the worlds of theatre, art, literature, politics and science. As before the exhibition will be researched and written by our own Volunteers.
