For the first time London’s leading art & antiques fair, LAPADA Berkeley Square Fair, which returns to its iconic Mayfair location between Wednesday, 23- Sunday, 27th October (preview on the 22nd), will be offering visitors the opportunity to experience the LAPADA Fringe. Handel Hendrix House is thrilled to be presenting a tour and recital as part of the LAPADA Fringe this October. Enjoy a complimentary drink during your visit.
Tour
Step into history with a guided tour of the Handel Rooms, revealing the mysteries of our Grade-1 listed building. Jump ahead into the 1960's on the third floor with a visit of the legendary Hendrix flat for a touch of rock 'n' roll and psychedlia.
Recital
In Handel’s day, the finest and most famous musicians rehearsed for his operas in his dining room in Brook Street. Experience the vibrancy and intimacy of live music in this space as musicians perform music by Handel and his contemporaries. Satoko Doi-Luck and Alice Earll will be joining us for an intimate performance in the Dining room on our 18th century harpsichord.
