Join the Portrait Players for two very special Family Concerts at Handel Hendrix House.

Designed for young children and their families, these interactive performances bring music to life in an intimate and engaging way. Alongside beautiful live performances, the musicians will share stories about Handel’s life in London, explore the music he composed there, and introduce the instruments you’ll hear up close.

The programme includes a wonderful selection of Handel favourites and hidden gems, from the lyrical Gentle Airs and Softly Sweet in Lydian Measure to the much-loved Lascia ch’io pianga and a vibrant Spanish Cantata.

There will also be highlights from Messiah, including I Know That My Redeemer Liveth and the triumphant Hallelujah Chorus, alongside sparkling movements from the Music for the Royal Fireworks. These special concerts offer an opportunity to experience Handel’s music where he once lived - in a setting that invites curiosity, discovery, and joy.

The London Handel Festival’s Family Concerts are recommended for families and children 5+.
