Wigs and Wiggles - An Interactive Children's Concert Series
Join us at Handel Hendrix House for an exciting new concert series for under 5s and their families, that brings the magic of Baroque music to life! Wigs and Wiggles invites children to sing, dance, and move while exploring the vibrant world of Handel’s music. Put on your favourite wig and get ready to wiggle to the sounds of the Baroque era! Suitable for children under 5.
Please note that adults tickets are £12 but kids go free!

Laboratory of Lullabies
Naomi Burrell and Johan Löfving
Naomi will take you on a whistle-stop, concert tour of her new project, the ‘Laboratory of Lullabies’, which she recorded in Gothenburg and developed at Britten Pears earlier this year. Playing violin and singing, she will be joined by Johan Löfving on lute and guitar in a medley of lullabies and ‘night-time' music from baroque and folk traditions which will entertain children and adults alike. She explores her Swiss-german and Scottish roots, some Swedish and yiddish, as well as delving into some poetry.

Travel back in time with Francesca Ter-Berg (cello) and Flora Curzon (violin) into the world of Yiddish music, the music of Jewish people from Eastern Europe in the earlier half of the 20th century. They will play a mix of soulful and rousing music from their two critically acclaimed albums, Precious Collection (2024) and Unfurl (2019) with opportunities for you and your children to sing along and dance.
