The collection contains previously unseen documents from Anim, Hendrix’s management company, which were saved from destruction by employee Trixie Sullivan in the 1970s. Some are on display and part of our permanent Hendrix in London exhibition but there’s plenty more to see, offering a rare glimpse into the everyday working life behind Hendrix’s stratospheric fame.
The exhibition explores the role of Trixie Sullivan, whose work behind the scenes helped shape the success of The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Her records provide a unique perspective on the management of Hendrix’s career and the vibrant, fast-moving music scene of the time.
