Join us for a truly unique live music experience in Hendrix’s flat. Our musicians will be playing original music throughout the flat, creating unforgettable moments in this historic space. There will be 2 of the same sets, one at 18:30 and the other at 19:30, so pick your preferred time!
Doors will open at 18:15 for the first session and again at 19:15 for the second.
Andy Cortes
Andy Cortes is a London-based blues musician who first made his name as a young blues guitar prodigy on the city's jam scene before establishing himself as a respected guitarist, singer and frontman. Alongside his own career, he has performed with artists including James Bay, K'naan and Bruno Major.
Following his time touring with Bruno Major, Andy was approached by guitarist and producer Dan Rothman (London Grammar) to record a blues-inspired album built around the spontaneity of live performance. Recorded at Damon Albarn's Studio 13 with co-producer Ricky Damian, the sessions brought together a group of outstanding musicians, including Bruno Major and Moses Boyd, to capture a genuine musical conversation direct to tape.
The resulting album, HOT JAM, is a raw and authentic celebration of blues music, recorded live in London and set for release in 2026.
