This month, guitar specialist Nigel takes a look at how Jimi Hendrix’s legacy lives on through other musicians. The force of nature that was Hendrix’s guitar style has influenced countless players across generations.
Together, you'll explore these influences - looking at where the riffs began and how they have travelled through music to the present day.
The talk will include live guitar demonstrations to bring this pivotal moment in music history to life.

This month, guitar specialist Nigel explores Jimi Hendrix’s time stateside - before and after the formation of The Experience. From early gigs and festival appearances to landmark albums and the journey to finally “breaking” America after his success in London and the UK, this talk traces Hendrix’s extraordinary rise.
The talk will include live guitar demonstrations to help bring this pivotal period in music history to life.
